The Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra has been a vibrant presence in the region since 1932!
We are committed to providing high quality live orchestral music, exceptional and unique children's education and vibrant community engagement programs. But did you know that we are also the home for three Youth Orchestras and play in schools throughout the area?
The Symphony continues to grow and thrive because of people who value and recognize the important role music plays in the vitality of our community.
Ticket sales generate only fifty percent of the dollars needed to keep the Symphony viable. Your contribution not only gives the gift of music, but also supports the behind-the-scenes operations that are necessary to bring our musicians to the stage. We cannot do any of this without your support.
To make a secure on-line gift to the DSSO, click here or call or email Ann Elliott, Development Director, at 218-623-3774.
You will receive our entire benefit package as well as a private dinner with Markand Thakar, the DSSO Board President and a guest artist. You’ll also be recognized as a partial underwriter of the Music Director’s position for the season and a portion of your donation will sponsor four chamber music performances for students at the schools of your choice. You'll also receive free DECC parking for all DSSO concert events.
Your name will appear in the Honor Roll of Donors in all three program books. You may also sponsor two performances or master classes in the school or schools of your choice in addition to all the benefits of the following giving levels, and free DECC parking for all DSSO concert events.
Full Chair Sponsors receive all of the benefits of the Half Chair Sponsor and your name will appear in all three program books in our Honor Roll of Donors. You'll receive free DECC parking for all DSSO concert events, and a portion of your contribution will sponsor a school performance or master class at the school of your choice.
In addition to the benefits of the following giving levels, you and another Half Chair Sponsor may select the chair of your choice to be the benefactor of your generosity (be sure to contact the DSSO office for availability). And you and a guest are invited to our annual Meet the Musicians dinner.
Quarter Chair Sponsors receive all of the benefits listed below as well as recognition on the Honor Roll of Donors in all three program books. You will receive invitations to special donor events and an invitation for you and your guests to attend a concert dress rehearsal.
