For patrons who arrive late, seating will be at the discretion of the House Manager and usher staff of the Auditorium. Late seating will be done at breaks between movements or during applause for any particular piece. For your convenience, there are television monitors in the main floor lobby..
An attended coat check is located just inside the main floor lobby on both sides under the stairs leading to the Mezzanine level.
Men’s and women’s restrooms are located in the main floor lobby and mezzanine level lobby.
Fire exits are located on all levels and marked accordingly. The lighted “Exit” sign nearest your seat is the shortest route outdoors. In case of emergency, please WALK – do NOT run – to your exit, unless otherwise instructed. Do NOT use elevators for emergency exits.
Lost articles may be claimed at the guest services office at concert time. At other times, contact the DECC box office at 218-727-4344.
Elevators serving the Mezzanine level are located in the outer lobby next to guest services.
There is a concessions stand in the main floor lobby next to the women’s rest room that is open prior to the performance and during intermission. For patrons wishing to purchase coffee or alcoholic beverages, there are concessions stands for both in the main lobby of the DECC complex. Alcoholic drinks may be pre-ordered for intermission at the designated table in the outer lobby.
Fountains are located outside of the men’s and women’s restrooms in the main lobby.
Public telephones are located in the outer lobby next to guest services.
The DECC is a smoke free facility. Minnesota state law requires all people smoking to be more than 30 feet away from any entrance to a building.
The use of cameras and audio recorders is prohibited at Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra concerts, unless prior permission is granted.
Patrons wearing alarm watches and/or electronic paging systems are respectfully requested to turn them off before entering the auditorium. Doctors on call may leave pagers at manager’s office and you will be notified if you are paged. Please turn off cell phones during the performance.
Because of the close quarters for seating, we ask that you either refrain from using or use very lightly any fragrances. Your fellow patrons with fragrance allergies will be very appreciative.
Through a generous donation from Ricola, we are pleased to offer free cough drops for our performances. We ask that you please only take a few so that all patrons have access to cough drops.
